EXTRA CURRICULAR ACHIEVEMENT 2023-24
1.Ten students of BBA 3rd year
got selected in the first round of interview during the placement drive held at
GCW Faridabad on 02.04.2024 by BPS Kiran Solar Solutions. Further on, they
attended two rounds of interview and four students got selected as Sales and
Marketing Executives in BPS Kiran Solar Solutions. Sonam Gupta, Priya Singh,
Sangeeta Sharma and Rashmi were the respective Students . Worthy Principal
Dr.Sunidhi congratulated the students and the team for their earnest efforts.
2.
Deepanshi Bhadana, Roll no. 1
and Pooja, Roll no 6, of B.Sc 2nd year of our college got second position in
the State-Level Quiz competition organized by the Department of Mathematics of
Pt. J. L. N. Govt College, Faridabad on 14/03/2024. Our worthy Principal,
Dr.Sundihi, congratulated the students on their achievement.
3.
Three students of BBA 3rd year
got selected in the first round of interview during the Job Fair held at GCG
Sector 14 Gurugram on 09.02.2024. Further on, they cleared two rounds of
interview and got selected as Customer Relations Officer in Ahuja Residency Pvt
. Ltd. Girisha, Anuva And Shweta were the respective Students . Worthy
Principal Dr.Sunidhi congratulated the students and the team for their earnest
efforts.
4.
Inter Zonal Youth Festival was
held at Maharshi Dayanand University on 4th,5th and 6th November. For the first
time, GCW Faridabad students won as many as 4 prizes and thus brought laurels
to the college. Principal Dr. Narendra Kumar congratulated and felicitated the
winners. He expressed happiness that the college students have done exceedingly
well at Inter Zonal Youth Festival.
5.
Zonal Youth Festival was held
at Government College Kheri Gujran during 26, 27 & 28th October, 2023 for
Faridabad Jhajjar Zone. Wherein about 1140 students from 38 colleges took part
in 43 competitions featuring literary, fine arts and musical items. In this
youth festival, Government College for Women, Faridabad won eleven
trophies.College Principal Mr Narendra Kumar congratulated the winners and
encouraged all the participants.
6.
A state level online
competition on the theme of "Transformational Stories of NSS
Volunteers" on the occasion of NSS Day on 03.10.2023 was conducted by
Vaish Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Rohtak in collaboration with NSS Cell
M.D.University Rohtak. NSS volunteer of our college Vishruti, BA III got 2nd
position in this competition. Our worthy principal Dr. Narender Kumar
congratulated the student for her achievement.
7.
Students of Computer department
of G.C.W Faridabad, participated in Lightning Talk, Coder Byte, Mock up and
Wine Making, Technobuzz 2023 organized by K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for
Women Faridabad, on 16/09/2023. Our student Mragakshi Mehta BCA II won 3rd
position in Lightning Talk. Our worthy principal Dr. Narender guided and
motivated the students about the importance of science and technology for the
growth of modern India and needs to fulfilling the dreams.
8.
Our B.Sc Student, Neetu Verma,
Roll no 46, awarded first position with a cash prize of Rs. 5000 in National
Level Essay Writing Competition organized by Vigyan Bharati, Haryana in
collaboration with NIT, Kurukshetra under the Theme Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and
sponsored by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India to celebrate the birth
anniversary of Indian Scientist Dr. S. S. Bhatnagar on 12th August, 2023.
Achievement 2022-23
Inter Zonal Youth Festival held at MDU, Rohtak from 25th to 27th March, 2022. Anika Goswami BA III won 3rd prize in English poetic recitation and Anjali BA III won 2nd prize in Rangoli making.[
A very proud moment for our college as our 3 students have been selected to represent MDU, Rohtak in KHELO INDIA UNIVERSITY GAMES which will take place in Karnataka (Banglore) from 22nd April to 3rd May 2022 by showing outstanding performance at nationals and All India Inter University.1. Urvashi Bhardwaj , BA-2nd year (Boxing).2. Sunita , B.Sc-2nd year (Fencing). 3. Ankita , B.Sc-3rd year (Fencing).
College participated in the Youth Festival in various categories and won 6 prizes. Poetic Recitation(English) – 1st Prize, Poetic Recitation(Punjabi) – 1st Prize, Poetic Recitation(Hindi) – 2nd Prize, Group Dance(General) – 2nd Prize, Group Dance (Haryanvi)-2nd Prize and Rangoli (Fine Arts) – 3rd Prize.
Our NSS volunteer Kajal Singh awarded as Best NSS volunteer at University level by Honourable Vice Chancellor prof. Rajbir Singh ji, on the occasion of NSS day celebration.
Ms. Rachna Saini, Assistant Professor of our college awarded as Best NSS program officer at University level by Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof Rajbir Singhji on the occasion of NSS day celebration.
