Faculty of science, Government College for Women, Faridabad organized a National level PowerPoint presentation competition for UG/PG students on 10th June, 2020 under the effective leadership of our worthy Principal Ma'am Ms. Namarta Sharma. Various students from different Colleges and Universities of different parts of our country such as Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Delhi, Haryana etc. submitted their entries for the competition. The event was successfully conducted by Dr. Neha Aggarwal, Dean, Faculty of Science (Convener), Ms. Ruchika Sehgal (Co-convener) and the members Dr. Varsha Sharma, Ms. Poonam and Ms. Chanchal. All the received entries were critically analysed by the judges Dr. Kaushal Sharma, Astronomer, IUCAA, Pune and Mr. Ravindra Mishra, Sr. Geophysicist, ONGC. Seshwara Phutela, GCW, Faridabad and Prachika Rajput, J C Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad shared the first position. Muskan, KMRD Jain college, Malerkotla, Punjab and Drishti, GCW, Faridabad shared the second position. Pankaj Dhiman GGDSD college Palwal bagged third position. The consolation prize was also given to Darshit Atul solanki, Vishwakarma University, Pune. All the winners also received the appreciation certificates. It was a very intellectual and enriching experience for all of us.
