United Nations Day celebration on 24th October

United Nations Day is celebrated on 24th October every year, to commemorate the coming together of 51 countries to promote peace throughout the world post World War II.
On this occasion, an extension lecture was organized by the department of Political Science, NSS cell and EBSB club. President IG Awardee Prof. Ranbir Singh Gulia, NSS Co-ordinator Maharishi Dayananad University, Rohtak Gracefully delivered a lecture -“united nations: Role of protection of human rights” on this occasion.
He stressed on the role of United Nations on protection of Human Rights. More than 90 participants attended the webinar. Officiating Principal of the college Mrs. Ritika Gupta congratulated students for the celebration of the day.
Mrs. Amita Kumari, HOD Department of Political Science formally delivered vote of thanks to the chief guest, staff members and students of the college . Ms. Shalini Khurana, & Dr. Rachna Saini, Program officer NSS cell & coordinator EBSB club also graced the occasion.
