On the occasion of National Press Day Department of Journalism and Mass communication organised one day webinar on Journalism: Opportunities and challenges. Mr. Rakesh gautam, District Information and Public Relations Officer, faridabad was invited as the keynote speaker at the event. In his address, he shared valuable information regarding avenues in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication. He also highlighted the challenges in this field.
Ms Namrata Sharma,Principal of the college also addressed students on this occasion and motivated them to serve society with the right usage of powerful tool of information : Mass Media.
Mr Gautam answered the queries raised by Journalism students regarding skill development and job opportunities in the field of Mass Communication.Around 70 students and faculty members Ms Ritika Gupta , Ms Shalini Khurana ,Dr Rachna Saini,Mr Suresh Kumar and Ms Savita Nagar attended this webinar.
