Tourism day celebration

Haryana Tourism Day was celebrated by the Tourism Department (Travel and Tourism Management) of Government Women's College, Sector 16A, Faridabad. In which all the students of department displayed Haryana culture and Tourist attractions by making paintings, posters and collages.
Inaugurating the program, Principal Dr. Narendra Kumar said that the tourism sector in Haryana is vast, where there is immense employment potential. He said that Haryana can make its mark as a tourist destination not only in the country but also globally in the form of its diversities like health tourism, rural tourism, farm tourism, yoga tourism, cultural tourism and MICE tourism.
Dr. Preeti Raina, Head of Department of Tourism informed that Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management course is going on in the college since 2013. Every year the girls getting education from here are getting employment in the tourism sector. The students of the department have achieved many positions at the university level as well. Senior professors Ritika Gupta, Archana Verma, Balbir Singh, and Dr. Sandeep Kumar , Keshav Kumar, were present on this occasion.
