Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Government College for Women Faridabad organised an interactive session on the occasion of Hindi Journalism Day( 30th May).Wishing the students on Hindi Journalism Day, Principal Dr. Sunidhi said that the media is the mirror of the society, whatever happens in the society, the media transmits it to the people and educates and makes people aware about it.The final year students of the department gave their presentation and shared their views on Hindi Journalism with the first and second year students.
Ms Shalini Khurana (Assistant Professor JMC Department) told the students about the importance of Hindi Journalism Day. She said that Journalism has always done the work of making the society aware and giving voices to the voiceless. Media is facing many challenges in modern times, which need to be resolved. Gauri, a final year student, presented her views on the struggle and history of Indian Journalism. Faculty members Mr. Suresh Kumar, Ms Savita Nagar and all the students of the department were present on this occasion.
