Department of Tourism Management organized chart and poster making competition,depicting the attractions of India on the occasion of World Tourism day 27sep.On the same day lecture by Travel industry expert was also organised under the able guidance and leadership of Dr Narendar Kumar,worthy Principal of Government College for women, Faridabad.
Ms Komal Burma from Travel Unravel, holidays Pvt .Ltd a US based Travel company had a interactive session with students of Tourism management.She is a alumni of our college,passed out in 2020.She shared valuable information about avenues in Tourism industry.She motivated and guided our students about the skills required in the Tourism industry and how learning at college level prepares them to succeed in their career and life.She told the students although she did not choose this course as first choice,but now she is happy that she did this from this college at minimal fee and now she is earning a handsome salary.she told the students that they should feel lucky that government is giving an option to study a professional course with minimum charges.Ms Preeti Raina and Mr.Sandeep also addressed the students about the importance and scope of Tourism industry.About 100students were present during the session
