On the occasion of World Radio Day, Department of JMC in Collaboration with Women Cell organised an extension lecture on February 12, 2021.
Dr Surender, Asst Prof, Deptt of JMC, GCG Sonipat delivered a lecture on Empowering Women through Community Radio.
Ms Namrata Sharma, Principal of the college also addressed students on this occasion and highlighted the Role of Radio in generating awareness amongst masses and also in the overall development of the nation.
Dr Surender shared valuable information regarding contribution of community radio in the development of Women Self Help Groups especially at the grassroot level.
Dr Rachna Saini, Asst Prof Deptt of JMC formally welcomed the speaker. Around 75 students of the Deptt attended this lecture. Ms Shalini Khurana, Dr Bhairavi, Mr Suresh and Ms Savita Nagar were also present on this occasion.
