An orientation-cum-induction programme was organized by Govt College for Women, Faridabad on 16th September, 2022. Ms.Moorti Dalal, a distinguished alumnus of the college who is a senior journalist working with 'Amar Ujala' newspaper was the Chief Guest. The programme started with lighting up of lamp of knowledge followed by Saraswati Vandana. Principal Dr. Narender Kumar addressed the students and advised them to focus on their goals and achieve them through perseverance and hard work. Chief Guest Ms. Moorti too shared her experiences from college life and work space and inspired students to make the most of their college life. Dr. Raman Kumar gave a PowerPoint presentation to students giving a brief description of college clubs, committees, cells and faculty members. Dr. Balbir Dahiya made the students aware about sport activities in college. The function was attended by freshers from all the courses. Senior staff members Ms. Ritika Gupta, Ms. Satvinder Kaur, Ms. Neelam Rani, Dr. Vijaya, Dr. Parul Rana, Ms. Shalini, Dr. Preeti Raina and Ms. Meenal were present in the function
