National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme
National
Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme(NAPS) was launched in August 2016 by
the Government of India to promote the Apprenticeship in the country by
providing financial incentives, technology and advocacy support. Since
then Govt. College for Women, Faridabad is playing their role for implementation
and promotion of apprenticeship under guidance from the Ministry of
Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE),Govt. of India.
Application of apprentices are invited through NAPS web Portal
(https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in). As per Norms of NAPS Act., two seats are available for apprentice trainees in our college. Apprentice trainee are selected for Computer operator and programming assistant ( COPA) trade for the tenure of 1 year & also provide financial
incentives of Rs. 7700/- per Month. Subsequently, practical examinations
are also conducted as per the guidelines issued by MSDE.
Presently there is 1 apprentice trainee continuing his training in the trade of COPA with financial aid.
