Institutional Development Plan

 

The college conducts an extensive strategic planning process in accordance with the vision, mission and objectives of the college. The strategic plans focus on the key priorities keeping in view the requirements of all the stakeholders. The goals are followed by strategies that address ways to close the gap between current reality and the envisioned future. All committees are expected to develop and implement their specific, individual strategies that align with this plan and that contribute to the continued growth and success of the College, its academic mission and its students' success. Objectives of Deptt of Higher Education, Haryana :-

1. Setting up of state of the Art Media Studio to enhance the employability and industry readiness of students from BAJMC, MAJMC, MDC and related minor subjects through professional training. Being the only women government college in the region offering these courses, and with leading media houses located in NCR, this initiative will provide students with a significant competitive advantage. We propose to conduct 7 to 15 day workshops and training sessions to equip them with practical skills aligned with industry demands. Awareness programmes related to gender sensitisation will be recorded.

2. Establishment of AI Lab: To empower students with necessary skills and practical knowledge regarding AI and robotics, set up of AI Lab is planned. NEP advocates for the extensive use of technology in learning. An AI lab will support this vision by integrating AI-based tools and techniques into academic environment. 

3. Upgrade Conference Hall - Complete setup with fixtures, furniture and equipment’s (microphones, audio mixer, DSP, speaker AV control Panel, Interactive display panel, cables and connectors power backup system, split AC to provide dedicated space for professional career counselling, mock interviews, group discussions. This will help in imparting specialised skills to the students for their better job prospects.

4. Upgradation of Physics and Chemistry Labs to encourage participation of girl students in STEM courses.

5. Setting up of Sanskrit Language Lab.

6. Upgradation of English Language Lab to enhance communication skills of girl students.

7. Upgradation of College Library - A modern and digital Library environment will encourage reading habits and support academic excellence among girl students.

8. Upgradation of Home Science Lab - The up gradation of Home Science lab will help in experiential learning and prepare girl students for better professional role.

9. Upgradation of Music Lab - The purpose of modern music lab is to enhance student’s expression and musical skills through modern instruments and technology and to organise professional workshops in a well-equipped environment.

10. To purchase Psychological Assessment Kits to promote awareness, understanding and  dialogue around mental Health and Psychological well- being among girl students.

11. Starting of New PG Course - MA (Economics) to give opportunity to girl students to pursue post-graduation in an industry oriented course.
