One Day workshop on HEALTHY WOMEN EMPOWERED WOMEN
Women cell of our college organized one day workshop on Healthy women empowered women to celebrate International Womens Day on 8th March 2025 under the guidance of our worthy Principal Dr. Sunidhi. Dr. Neelima Deputy chief medical officer Gurugram was the resource person of the Workshop. Total 186 students participated and got benefitted from this workshop. The primary aim of this workshop was to raise awareness among our girl students about nutrition fitness menstrual health Hygiene etc. and to educate students on common health issues like PCOD PCOS Anemia Disorders that affect young women. The workshop began with the address of our worthy Principal Dr. Sunidhi highlighting the importance of health education for young Girls. Women cell in charge Dr. Sonia introduced the Chief guest renowned doctor Neelima Deputy chief medical officer Gurugram and addressed students. Dr. Neelima explained menstrual hygiene, health related issues like Anemia various infections among young girls discussed the importance of Diet iron rich foods exercises and hydration. Dr. Neelima encouraged the students to prioritize their health. A hands-on demonstration was on hygiene practices including proper handwashing and menstrual hygiene product usage. There was Q & A session in which students actively Participated in discussions asking questions related to health and wellness. The workshop was a great success providing valuable knowledge and practical tips to girl students. It empowered them to take charge of their health and well-being. A vote of thanks was delivered by Senior faculty member Ms. Shalini Khurana at the end of the workshop expressing gratitude to all the participants resource person and organizer women cell. Senior faculty members Dr. Parul Rana Dr. Preeti Raina Dr. Pooja Singh Dr. Poonam Almadi Dr. Rachna Saini Ms. Savita Nagar Ms. Priya Saini Ms. Divesh Ms. Sangeeta Kanjani Ms. Poonam Sharma Ms. Neha vij and other faculty members enhanced the grace of the workshop with their presence.
