GCW Faridabad celebrated 78th Independence Day by hoisting National Flag, singing patriotic songs and distributing sweets among students. Principal Dr. Sunidhi in her address highlighted the importance of celebrating Independence Day, the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters to attain freedom and stressed on equality of all individuals as enshrined in our Constitution. Principal Ma'am also reminded everyone of their duties as citizens of the country and the need to conserve environment. Students of Music Department under the able guidance of Dr. Balram and Dr. Ram Niwas infused patriotic fervour by beautiful rendition of patriotic songs and poems. Ms.Sonia, Asst. Professor sang National song Vande Matram. Sh. Mahender talked about the valour of our freedom fighters and soldiers.
Everyone appreciated the students who came in large numbers to mark the occasion. Dr. Balbir Dahiya, incharge of the function ensured smooth conduct of the function.
