On 16th Oct 2023, Dept of Geography organized a power point presentation on a very relevant and burning topic 'Climate Change & Global Warming' by Dr. Parul Rana, Associate Professor. The students were explained the topic in detail and given numerous examples from different parts of the world citing various sources such as newspaper articles, research findings to help them understand how global warming is leading to climate change both at macro and micro level with disastrous consequences and what countries can do to mitigate and avert the cycle of natural disasters that has been set in motion. Around 30 students from BA II attended the presentation and asked questions which was followed by discussion in class.
