On October 31, 2023, a "Mehndi Competition" was organized by Women Cell of Government College for Women, Faridabad. Addressing the college students on the occasion of the inauguration of the competition, Principal Mr. Narendra Kumar said it enhances the beauty of a woman and is a means of keeping our culture alive. On October 31, 2023, a "Mehndi Competition" was organized by Women Cell of Government College for Women, Faridabad. Addressing the college students on the occasion of the inauguration of the competition, Principal Mr. Narendra Kumar said it enhances the beauty of a woman and is a means of keeping our culture alive. Along with this, if the girl students are competent in this skill, they can also adopt it as their own part time employment. Senior faculty members Mrs. Satvinder Kaur, Mrs. Neelam Rani, and Mrs. Vijaya Sridhar played the role of jury of this competition.The competition was successfully conducted by Women Cell in-charge Sheetal Rani (Assistant Professor in Sociology). In which total forty three students participated with great enthusiasm. In the competition Shalu from B. A. 3rd year got the first position. B.Com. 3rd year student Unnati and B. A. 1st year student Ridhi Sharma jointly got the second position. B.Com. 1st year student Nisha and B. A. 3rd year student, Deepali jointly got the third position. Reshma, BCA 2nd year student received the consolation prize. Ms. Preeti Raina, Ms. Pooja Singh, Ms. Poonam Almadi, Ms. Sonia Minocha, Ms. Meenu Sheoran, Ms. Jyoti Gupta, Ms. Priya Saini, Ms Divesh, and Ms. Mamta (Clerk) and other faculty members were present on this occasion. College Principal Mr. Narendra Kumar congratulated the winners and encouraged the all participants.
