On March 9, 2024, a college-level debate competition on the theme "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress" was held in commemoration of International Women's Day, 2024, under the joint auspices of the Department of Sociology and the Women Cell of GCW, Faridabad. This event was attended by approximately sixty students from various departments. Dr. Sunidhi, the college principal, stated during the competition's commencement that investing in women may significantly speed up progress, benefit all of us, and serve as a foundation for creating inclusive societies. She encouraged the participants and said that they should be aware of their rights. In the competition Prakriti from B.Com. 2nd year got the first position. B.A. 3rd year student Kamlesh got the second position. B.B.A. 3rd year student Vishakha got the third position. Best wishes for the future were extended by Principal Madam to the awardees.The competition was successfully organized by Ms. Sheetal Rani, Head of Sociology Department and members of Women Cell.The judge panel for the debate competition included Dr. Parul Rana, Associate Professor in Geography Department, Mr. Sandeep, Assistant Professor in Geography, and Dr. Raman Kumar, Lecturer of Hindi Department.
