GCW Faridabad celebrated 74th Republic Day by unfurling National Flag, singing patriotic songs and distributing sweets among students. Principal Dr. Narender Kumar in his address highlighted the importance of celebrating Republic Day, the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters to attain freedom. Sir also reminded everyone of their duties as citizens of the country and the need to conserve environment. The Music Department led by Dr. Ram Niwas and Sh. Prabhakar Pandey infused patriotic fervour by a beautiful presentation of soulful patriotic songs. One student Ms. Chanchal gave a short speech on the importance of Republic Day followed by Dr. Dinesh Joon, Associate Professor who also appreciated the students for maintaining cleanliness in the college campus.
Mr. Sandeep, Asst. Professor emphasized that we need to celebrate Republic Day everyday by being responsible citizens and by upholding the secular fabric of our country.Ms. Ritika Gupta, seniormost faculty concluded the function by congratulating everyone and especially students who came in large numbers to mark the occasion. Dr. Balbir Dahiya, incharge of the function ensured smooth conduct of the function.
