Department of Journalism and Mass Communication on January 22,2020 organised one day workshop *Factshala* .
The purpose of organising Factshala was to generate awareness among budding Journalists regarding importance of Fact checking before sharing any information on any platform.
Ms Rachna Kasna ,Asst Prof Deptt of Journalism DAV College Faridabad and certified Factshala trainer conducted this workshop.
Ms Namrata Sharma , college Principal highlighted the role of Media in bringing out positive change in society and also appreciated and congratulated students for choosing this course.
Ms Rachna Kasna shared valuable information regarding tools of fact checking and told students about fact checking app.
Ms Shalini Khurana, HOD Journalism and Mass Communication formally welcomed workshop trainer.
Almost 60 students of the Deptt participated in this workshop.
Faculty Members Dr Rachna Saini, Mr Suresh Kumar and Ms Savita Nagar also attended this workshop.
