Government Women's College, Faridabad, Organizes Seminar on Cyber Crime Security A seminar on "Cyber Crime Security" was jointly convened by the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit and the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Government Women's College, Faridabad. The event aimed to raise awareness about various types of cyber crimes and strategies for prevention. The keynote speaker, Mr. Jasvir Singh, Station House Officer (SHO), delivered an insightful presentation on the prevalence and consequences of cyber crimes. He emphasized the importance of digital awareness and cautioned against falling prey to unknown individuals. Mr. Singh advised the audience to contact the helpline number "1930" immediately in case of such incidents, assuring that no financial transactions would be deducted from their accounts. Dr. Sunidhi, Principal of the college, commended Mr. Jasvir Singh's efforts, highlighting the imperative need for digital awareness in society. A question-and-answer session followed, where students engaged in an interactive discussion with Mr. Jasvir Singh, seeking clarification on various aspects of cyber crime security.
