Women Cell of Government College for Women Faridabad in collaboration with Home Science Department organized a four days Cooking Workshop from 24th September 2024 to 27th September 2024 for the college students as part of celebration of Poshan Maah September 2024. The aim of the workshop was to educate students on the importance of healthy eating habits and to encourage them to prepare nutritious meals.

Women Cell of Government College for Women Faridabad in collaboration with Home Science Department organized a four days Cooking Workshop from 24th September 2024 to 27th September 2024 for the college students as part of celebration of Poshan Maah September 2024. The aim of the workshop was to educate students on the importance of healthy eating habits and to encourage them to prepare nutritious meals.
Poshan Maah is a national initiative to promote nutrition awareness and this workshop played a vital role in teaching students about healthy balanced diets. Through hands on cooking sessions students learned how to prepare simple healthy and delicious dishes using locally available ingredients such as quinoa spinach vegetables lentils millets oats etc. Each day focused on different types of healthy dishes such as breakfast lunch snacks and beverages. Total 48 students actively took part in cooking workshop under the guidance of Ms. Neelam Rani Assistant Professor in Home Science Department . Our worthy principal madam Dr. Sunidhi appreciated the efforts of students and encouraged them to incorporate a healthy and balanced diet into their daily routine.The workshop was successfully conducted under the convenership of Dr. Sheetal Rani In Charge Women Cell.
