On September 14, 2023, in celebration of Hindi Diwas, the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication organized a special session for BAJMC students. Mr. Pankaj Mishra, a senior Media Advisor from the Ministry of Environment, graced the occasion and provided invaluable insights into the history, present, and future of Hindi Journalism. He emphasized the significant role played by Hindi Journalism during the freedom struggle, emphasizing that Hindi is the language of Jan Manas, and to connect with Jan Manas, we must communicate in our mother tongue. The session was chaired by Dr. Narender Kumar, the college Principal, who extended his congratulations to the students on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. He also emphasized the importance of Hindi in establishing a strong image of India on the global stage. A hundred students from the department attended the session, actively engaging with questions related to the discussion. Ms. Shalini Khurana, Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, formally welcomed the guest and highlighted the significance of celebrating Hindi Diwas. Mr. Suresh Kumar and Ms. Savita Nagar, Assistant Professors, dedicated their best efforts to organize this insightful session.
