Women Cell of Government College for Women, Faridabad in collaboration with Department of Home Science is celebrating the 7th Rashtriya Poshan Maah throughout September 2024 to promote nutrition awareness and driving action towards building a healthier India. For this purpose Poster making and Slogan writing competition were organised for the college students on 19th September, 2024.Total forty two students from various departments took part in the competitions. Anjali Kumari (Roll no 19) of B.Sc. first year, Radha (Roll no 158) of B. Com first year and Khushi (Roll no 205) of BA first year got first, second and third position respectively in poster making competition. Tamanna (Roll no 92) of B.A. first year, Khushbu (Roll no 4) of BTTM second year and Sonia (Roll no 21) of BA second year got first, second and third position respectively in slogan writing competition. Our Worthy Principal Dr. Sunidhi congratulated the winners and encouraged the all participants to create awareness regarding nutritious meal among their neighbourhoods to ensure community mobilisation and bolster people's participation for addressing malnutrition amongst young children, and women and to ensure health and nutrition for everyone. Senior faculty members Ms. Shalini Khurana , Dr. Preeti Raina and Dr. Poonam Almadi played the role of jury of these competitions. The competitions were successfully conducted by Ms. Neelam Rani ( HOD, Home Science) and Dr. Sheetal Rani (In- Charge, Women Cell).
