Music department in collaboration with EBSB club of Government College for Women,Faridabad celebrated Basant Utsav on occassion of Basant Panchmi.Programme started with Saraswati Vandana. Saba Ahmad of B.A.1st yr performed beautiful Quawali, Bobby Sharma, Bindu, Anjali,Barkha with other students gave splendid performance on various songs, The occassion was lightened up by Bhajan of Pooja Mishra.Mr.Ram Niwas on Harmonium and Mr.Prabhakar Pandey on Tabla accompanied with all students.Dr.Bhairvi head of Music Department, gave dazzling performance on sitar with Raag Shyam Kalyan,Megh Malhar, Bihag, Bhajan & light music.Our worthy Principal Ms Namarta Sharma appreciated the efforts of students and the organizers and said music is an important part of our life as it is a way of expressing our feelings as well as emotions and its a great way of celebrating Basant Panchmi.Dr. Bhairvi, Dr.RachnaSaini(convener Ebsb club),organised the event successfully .
